Poet's path - the end of the road

Continue following the path round to the left, cross over the wooden bridge and continue on to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum for a well earned rest.

Alloway Robert Burns Poets Path National Trust Robert Burns Birthplace Museum

After a restorative cup of coffee and a possible slice of cake, why not visit some of the other attractions in this area - Burns Monument including its beautiful gardens, the Brig o'Doon and not forgetting the Auld Kirk of Alloway, of Tam o'Shanter fame.

If you're feeling energetic, you could try Mr. Skilling's more extensive walk round Alloway's Burns heritage - it too can be found on this website.
